Farewell for Now, SJAM Families
Greetings, Sir John A. Macdonald School families.
It is with a mix of gratitude and sadness that I share my farewell after three years at SJAM. As I embark on a new adventure as the new Assistant Principal at Abbeydale School, I’d like to share one of my reflections on this chapter of my life and career. This place has meant so much to me, and I want to express my utmost gratitude for the time I've spent as part of this incredible school community.
It has been such a privilege to work shoulder to shoulder with such dedicated staff, supportive families, and inspiring students. This community is one of warmth, resilience, and deep care; it’s a space where empathy is lived every day. Though I’m moving on, I will carry with me the memories, relationships, and lessons learned here. Thank you for allowing me to be part of this incredible journey. I’ll always be cheering on the Mustangs.
With heartfelt appreciation,
Moe Rachid
Assistant Principal | Sir John A. Macdonald School
Assigned Teachers
PowerSchool will be open to families on Tuesday September 2nd. At this time, students will be able to view their teachers and course schedules.
Students can email Ms. Hornby, Mr. Jensen and Mr. Rachid for inquiries about potential timetable changes. We are not able to change your child's homeroom. Due to facility restraints and many complementary courses being full at this time of year, no school is able to fulfill 100% of student requests.
