Off-Site Activities
Grade 9 students will be heading to the Calgary Zoo tomorrow, and with sunshine in the forecast, it’s shaping up to be a perfect day for outdoor learning. Please ensure that your child dresses in layers and brings a substantial lunch, snacks, and a water bottle to stay energized throughout this busy day. If your child misses the bus or did not submit their permission form on time, they are welcome to report to Mustang Station to complete an alternate assignment. We extend our gratitude to Ms. Sterling and the Grade 9 teaching team for organizing this experience, and to School Council for generously funding the buses, making this visit both accessible and affordable for all.
We also want to recognize the excitement building in our music community as Ms. Armstrong and her Grade 7, 8, and 9 band students gear up for another unforgettable Band Camp (Tue, Wed, Thur). Their hard work and dedication are shining through as they prepare for this experience, and we can’t wait to see the energy, teamwork, and musical growth that always come from this much‑anticipated trip.
School Council
On Tuesday April 21, we will be hosting the second last School Council meeting of 2025-26 from 6:30 – 8:00 pm in the SJAM Learning Commons. A reminder will be sent out Tuesday morning. If you were unable to attend our SDP/fees presentation, here are links to the approved minutes:

Non-Instruction Day
Gentle reminder: there is no school for students on Friday. SJAM staff will be engaged in a day of professional learning at ‘Head Smashed In Buffalo Jump’, organized by Mr. Jensen.
Athletics - Mr. Jones
Badminton: Practices continue this week as teams are taking form. Thank you for encouraging your child to take a healthy risk and come out for the team. Coaches have had to make some grueling decisions due to the number of excellent athletes that have come out in each grade. Go Mustangs!
