Week at a Glance Jan. 15-19 | Fidget Toys, TRC Commitment, Jersey Day, Volleyball, Mustang of the Week

Dear Mustang Families:

Please forward this weekly message to your child's personal email! We have also started posting these messages on our website.

This past Friday, Ms. Billeck presented each staff member with a bin of fidget toys. Starting next week, every student will have an opportunity to access these devices designed to increase focus while alleviating other, more distracting habits. Students with ADHD, stress, anxiety, or autism can benefit. Students will need to return the fidget toys to the teacher at the end of each class. Gratitude is extended to the Parent Society/School Council for making this purchase possible. If you would like to read more about fidget toys, please reference these articles:

Gentle Reminders

On January 30, families can see report cards through MyCBE If you are having problems, please contact Ms. Sherry Reynolds in the main office during regular business hours. (403-777-7670, dial 0 for the main office). Parents and Guardians can sign in to MyCBE to view student information, including report cards, comments from your child’s teacher, assignments and grades, and attendance information starting on January 30. For best access to information, log in to the MyCBE portal instead of using the PowerSchool App.

Accessing free resources through the Calgary Public Library may be part of your family's action plan to support academic growth for your child. Library books are free and overdue fees are no longer collected through the Calgary public system. Encouraging your child to read daily is one of the best ways to improve their success in the classroom.
