SJAM Weekly Newsletter

Monday, May 11, 2026

Dear Mustang Families,

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the mothers, guardians, and caregivers in our school community. Your love, support, and guidance make a lasting difference in our students’ lives every day.

We are grateful for all that you do and wish you a wonderful and well-deserved Mother’s Day.

If you are still looking for things to do today, check out:

Thank you to all our students and faculty for their enthusiastic participation in last week’s mental well-being activities.

From the Random Acts of Kindness Challenge to Mental Health Bingo, we saw many small but meaningful actions that helped build connection, positivity, and self-awareness throughout our school community.

We also appreciate the creativity and thoughtfulness demonstrated in the leadership classes’ mental health posters, as well as the strong participation in Lunch & Learn sessions, Spirit Days, and special events throughout the week.

Your efforts remind us that taking care of our mental health through kindness, balance, and support truly matters.

A special thank you goes to our volunteer parents who regularly support our weekly Fun Lunches and the Stampede Dance.

If you or someone you know needs support, help is always available:

  • Kids Help Phone
  • The Summit:
    • Walk-in mental health services available Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
    • Weekend hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
    • Outside these hours, call Health Link at 811

Let’s continue to look out for ourselves and one another.
