Welcome (back) to SJAM!! Hoping your school startup has been exhilarating and manageable! Get ready to make lasting memories and experience new opportunities. And with that in mind, we want to let you know of an amazing opportunity to capture those memories by purchasing the SJAM 2023-24 Yearbook that our crew is already in the process of making. 


In order to keep costs as low as we can (as prices continue to increase), we benefit from early sales. You can also benefit in a couple of ways. First, it ensures that you will get your copy before sales run out (which happens every year for those who wait too long or forget). Second, you might earn your book free!! Here's how...


We will be doing a draw for a free yearbook for everyone who fully pays for a copy by October 15th. We will throw in another free yearbook and winner for every 100 copies purchased. So if we get over 200 copies, there'll be 3 lucky winners! Winners will be announced and informed shortly after the deadline.


To purchase your copy, go to the parent portal of PowerSchool, add the yearbook to your cart, and make payment. The price is $40 (which is the cost of producing the book, we don't aim for profit) for a hard cover, full-colour, yearbook. Steps to make your purchase are down below.


For those that win, we will put the $40 credit to your account to pay towards any outstanding balances or upcoming costs (like semester 2 fees). If all fees are taken care of by the end of the year, we will re-imburse with a cheque. We want to re-iterate for all, yearbooks cannot be distributed to a student until fees are taken care of or a payment plan is in place.


Don't hesitate to purchase your yearbook to guarantee your copy and maybe even get it for free! 

Instructions for adding the yearbook online:

 

1.       Once a parent has accessed their student’s account, they need to scroll down to the bottom of the page.

2.       Look for a tab called:  School Based Optional Fees and click on it.

3.       Two boxes will appear – 1 for Athletic Shirts and 1 for Yearbook.

4.       To add the Yearbook, click on the Yearbook box. 

5.       Another window will appear and the parent should click on “Submit”.  By doing so, the Yearbook fee will be added to their student’s account.

6. Be sure to finish by making payment.

Sunday October 15th:  Deadline to pay $40.00 for the possibility of a free yearbook.

Sunday February 11th:  Deadline to guarantee your purchase of a 2023-24 yearbook.
